Oregano tea is used orally for disorders of the nervous system, insomnia, hypertension and atherosclerosis, for decreased secretion of digestive glands, ulcer diseases, for atony of the intestinal tract, for bronchitis and other cold diseases. Oregano has a calming, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and digestive effect. Oregano root is used for stomach spasms, intestinal inflammation, constipation and gas accumulation, as well as bronchitis and painful menstruation. Oregano infusion has an anti-inflammatory, deodorizing and pain-relieving effect on diseases of the oral cavity; as compresses and baths are used for skin rashes and diathesis. Do not use: Pregnant women, because of the effect of inducing an abortion. Method of preparation: 1.5 tsp. tea is poured with 200 ml of hot water. Allow to infuse for 6-7 minutes.
